How to find bank routing

If you have not yet filed your tax return, the bank routing and account numbers are in the File section of the program when you select direct deposit for your tax refund or direct debit for taxes owed. Click on the File tab at the top of the program screen and follow the interview.

And here's how to find your bank routing number to enter into Turbo Tax. I would also double check with your bank or credit union and ask them what number to use. Some places use a different number for deposits and debits.

IRS states refund already deposited to bank account via direct deposit.

Called bank this morning, and after 8 days no deposit received.

If you are referring to the direct deposit account number entered while filing your return and you have not yet filed your tax return, the bank routing and account numbers are in the File section of the program when you select direct deposit for your tax refund or direct debit for taxes owed. I am not receiving a Fed refund this year (2019) nor did I last year. When filling out the final Turbo tax forms with regards to direct deposit TT accepts the bank routing number and account but it only populates it into the state form because I am receiving a state return but TT places xxxxxx's in the bank and routing info section on the Fed form even though I provided the information to TT. Again I assume this is because I am not receiving a Fed refund this year but I want to receive the Cover-19 stimulus check and the IRS needs my routing number and account number. I have read some posts that state both the IRS and Intuit are adding this feature to their on line accounts but when will it be added and ready to be used by your customers?

If that's where you had your refund deposited, you don't need to do anything more.
