Question

CNBC is reporting that we can electronically file amended returns on line for 2019. How come we can't do this on turbo tax?

The software is not yet ready.  TurboTax is working on it; they have not yet announced when e-filing will be available for amended returns.  When they have it ready, it will only be for 2019 returns--no earlier years.  Earlier year amended returns will still have to be printed, signed and mailed.
