Could unemployment be delaying my tax refund?

I filed 2/01 and my status is still saying "your tax return in still being processed" (and boy am I SICK of seeing that!). I had unemployment income in my return. My mother in law, who did not have unemployment and didn't file until 2/14 received her refund last week. Could the recent change to unemployment income taxes be delaying my refund? May I ask if others experiencing this delay had unemployment income as well?

I’m still waiting also. It’s going to be a long wait now that there stopping what there doing to do stimulus checks

It could be. But it could also be a variety of other items that could be causing a delay. Therefore, it is hard to pin-point exactly why it is taking longer than normal to get your refund.
