Question

Daughter marked "can be claimed on someone's return" by accident. Amended return was done last week, I can't claim her due to her income. Will she get stimulus?

The IRS has not specifically addressed this situation.

 

But they have said that dependents will not get the stimulus.

 

If your daughter indicated that she can be claimed as a dependent on someone else's return, then she is treated as a dependent for tax purposes on that return.

 

So it is likely that she will not receive the stimulus based on that return.
