Did not intentionally opt to have fees deducted from return but fees were taken out.

   I did not intentionally opt for fees to be deducted from my refund. When I printed out my file copy after e-filing the instructions said fees were deducted. It sais you will receive an email fro Green Dot Bank.  Below is the text from my e-mail.

"Tax Products Group (TPG), a TurboTax partner, will process your refund by deducting your TurboTax fees from your federal refund and sending the remainder of your refund to you using the delivery method you chose. If you have already paid, please disregard the information about fees being deducted from your refund."

    Why would anyone pay  $51.80 to file for a $72.00 return ? 

  The software should contain an algorithm questioning feasibility of this process. I have been using Turbo tax for several years and had no problems.
