my state amendment in past the filing period, and it won't file. now what?

What tax year are you amending?

If the Schedule K-1 also changes the state return that was filed, either for a state refund or state taxes owed then the state amended return should be filed.

It most cases you have up to 3 years to amend a tax federal and/or a state tax return from the due date of the original return if the amended return has a tax refund.

It taxes are owed on an amended return there is no time limit on when the tax return can be filed.
