Do I have to claim my 17 y/o part time job income on my return?

My filing status is HOH. My 18 y/o son worked a part time job during the year, but he retained 100% of it for his own purposes and will be filing his own tax return. I don't have to put his income on my return, correct? I would not consider it "household income" since none of it came to me to maintain the household.

    No, you do Not enter his earned income from work on your tax return.

    If he is filing a tax return make sure he indicates on his tax return that he can be claimed as a dependent.
