Question

Do I need to amend

I received an additional 1099-B after I filed my taxes.  The only additional income is a $0.26 short term capital gain from a single share of stock sold for $5.04.  Do I need to still amend my tax return even though this won't change my taxable income?

No, you do not need to amend your return for an additional income of $0.26.  Just keep the Form 1099-B with your tax documents and make a note that it was not reported on your return.
