Are you making payments in 2023 for state property taxes?

Payments made in 2023 may be deductible next year on the 2023 tax return.

Do not amend a 2022 or earlier tax return that has been filed.

No, I’m just want to e-file my 2022 property tax return, instead of mailing it in. There is no changes to my tax forms.

@mjbadger1736a   I probably do not have an answer..

BUT

You always need to indicate what state is involved for such things....several states have certain property tax forms....and they are all handled differently.  Some might be able to be e-filed..but some state's forms may have to be mail-filed.
