Question

Do I need to amend my taxes if the IRS already accepted my return and sent my (corrected) refund?

Exact situation:
- 2020 Taxes
- filed Jointly with Husband (no dependents)
- reported NOT receiving our 2nd Stimulus Check ($1200 total)
- found out old, closed bank account was reopened without warning and 2nd Stimulus deposited.
- Turbo Tax Amendments have been closed for 3-4 weeks
- Received direct deposit of our 2020 refund, minus the $1200.

Do I still need to amend my 2020 taxes if the IRS sent the corrected refund?

No you do not need to amend.   The IRS has been cross checking for incorrect answers about the EIP payments and they recalculate your refund when they see that you received the payment.
