Do I need to send a hard copy to IRS? I am a US citizen who is living abroad. I have done the e-filing.

Hi, I am a US citizen who is living abroad. I have used Turbotax since 2015, and after filing, they used to give me a guide that send a hard copy to IRS- Texas. However, this year, after e-filing, they did not say anything about the hard copy. Don't I need to send a hard copy to IRS this year? Please let me know! Thanks.

If you have a US address and e-file, there is no reason to send in a hard copy to the IRS.

If you do not have a US address, there is no way for you to e-file your return. You would need to file by mail.
