Do I receive my state taxes the same time as my federal taxes

No. They come separately. The Federal and state refunds come from 2 different tax agencies, each doing their own thing and at their own speed.
If they happen to come on the same day, that would just be a big coincidence. Even if they did come on the same day, it would be separate deposits from the 2 different agencies.
