You still have to file a tax return so you'll have to get your W-2 from your employer. If you over paid your income taxes, you'll get a refund.

You can file a conventional paper return that includes IRS Form 4852 Substitute for Form W-2, Wage and Tax Statement, or Form 1099R, Distributions From Pensions, Annuities, Retirement or Profit-Sharing Plans, IRA's Insurance Contracts, Etc.if all efforts to obtain a W-2 from your employer have failed. So sorry to hear that you were robbed and living on the streets.
