Does anyone have information on why people who used the Turbo Tax stimulus portal didn't get their stimulus checks and receive a " Payment Status Not Available"?

    I wanted to jump on this thread. I have filed for several years using Turbo Tax but it has been quite a while since I was due a refund... so I have not provided direct deposit information.

     

    I go to the IRS website, enter my information (SSN, DOB, address, zip code) and immediately get that "Payment Status Not Available." I've read about other people entering additional information to confirm their identification but I don't even get that far.
