Does anyone know why my state has no record of my return even though they accepted it?

Depending on which state you are in, this is not uncommon. Accepted just means that they have received your return but not started processing it yet. Until that state starts actually reviewing and processing your received return, they won't have any record of it when you go to check status on their website. The next step would be for them to review/process and approve your refund. Processing times vary from state to state. Patience is virtue when waiting on government to process returns.

You can go here How do I track my state refund? select your state and most states have some type of note on their refund tracking page (the page where you enter your personal info to check status) that states how long processing may take. If there is no note there, no need to be alarmed.

I am having the same problem. My return was accepted on 2/13/2021 and the state of Missouri has no record of it. I was wondering if I should be worried. I have never e-filed before so I  am not sure what is normal

I know it's been a while, but I'm curious to know what happened? I'm having the same issue with Delaware and don't know whether they just haven't gotten to my return yet (I filed it 5 weeks ago) or if I need to print and mail it in. Turbo Tax isn't letting me do any kind of "re-submit" or anything, so that's really my only other option.

What does the Tax Home page say when you sign in @james1281 ?  You can check the status of your refund at the Delaware Division of Revenue website. Select the Check Return Status button. You'll have to enter the exact amount of your expected refund in whole dollars. You can find this by signing in to TurboTax.

The refund date doesn't include the time it takes for your bank to process a direct deposit or the time it takes for a check to arrive in the mail.

Per the Delaware Division of Revenue, You will receive a tax return acknowledgment from the Delaware Division of Revenue when your return has been received and is being processed. If additional information is needed to process your return, the Division of Revenue will contact you. Refund time frames can vary depending on the complexity of your return, but our goal is to process refunds within eight weeks of receipt.
