Question

Doing two state returns and info is on the wrong state. How do I delete state return entries that were autofilled from Federal return, childcare and self employed income?

I had childcare expenses and self employed income in only one state, each in a different state. I can't input info myself. Info is autofilled from the federal return. How do I fix that?

Your information will continue to autofill from the Federal return. You should complete the nonresident state return prior to doing the resident state. You will need to make adjustments for reporting income in the respective states. As you click through the state screens, it will ask if the income belongs in that state, etc., and allow you to make allocations. The method will vary slightly by state.
