E-file NY State not available because of solar and wind energy credit carryover that I am not even claiming

Hi There-

I am trying to e-file my federal and state returns but turbo tax is saying that e-file is not available for my state return because my return claims a solar and wind energy credit carryover. I am not claiming any credit for this nor have I ever. I have gone back to the ny state return several times to redo this and ensure there was no solar or wind credit claimed but it is still not accepting my efile. Please help

Revisit NY "Other Tax Credits" then "Non-Refundable Credits" and make sure those boxes are blank. Delete any zeros.

Open your NY return and continue to the screen Take a look at New York credits and taxes
Scroll down to Other Tax Credits" then "Non-Refundable Credits.

If that doesn't work, delete the form IT-218

In TurboTax Online:

From the left rail menu in TurboTax Online, select Tax Tools (You may have to scroll down on the left rail menu.)
On the drop-down select Tools
On the Pop-Up menu titled “Tools Center,” select Delete a Form
This will show all of the forms in your return
Scroll down to the form you want to delete
Select the Form
Click on Delete.

In TurboTax Desktop?

Open or continue your return.
Switch to Forms Mode by selecting the Forms icon.
From the menu, select the form you want to remove.
After the form is generated in the right pane, select the Delete Form button.
Follow any onscreen instructions to remove the form or forms.
