E-file rejected

I filed my federal returns last night. I received a rejection e-mail. The suggested course of action was to verify the AGI from last year. I opened my TurboTax return from last year and found that the AGI that I had inputted was correct. I resubmitted and it again came back in error???? Any ideas? Thank you so much for the help! I do not have an IRS account to view my actual return from last year.

There is a possibility that the IRS does not have your 2020 AGI in their database.

Enter a 0 (zero) for the 2020 AGI and e-file the 2021 tax return again.

Thank you for your help! I'll give that a try!

It looks like putting a zero in for the AGI didn't work. 😕😕 I guess I should register on the IRS site and check last years returns to see if it was adjusted and my value in TurboTax was incorrect???

return rejected - Janets AGI for 2020 incorrect.

checked and was same as last years tax return.

    resubmitted and rejected again.

If you submit the AGI the first time and it is REJECTED,

it will be rejected again the second time and the third time and so on  and so on.

If AGI = 0 does not work, start FILE again and say you did not e-File last year.

    enter AGI = 0.

If that does not work and you don't have a self-select PIN from last time, you'll have to file  a paper return via US Mail.
