E-file vs. Mailing 2020 return when 2019 still not processed.

When filling out my turbotax 2020 return it recommended that I mail my return vs. e-filing because there is no record of my 2019 return. If I mail my 2020 return, I'm wondering if it's going to take a long time and I won't receive my 2020 return which includes my stimulus check money.

You should be able to e-file your 2020 tax return even if you did not file a 2019 tax return or the 2019 tax return that was filed has not yet been processed by the IRS.

Where asked for the 2019 AGI enter a 0 (zero) so the tax return can be e-filed.
