e-files pending so long (5 days) and finally got email accepted both on federal and state but turbo tax software still pending on my file tax return ?

Once your return is accepted by the IRS, they will have the most up-to-date information for you. TurboTax helps you prepare your return and then we pass it on to the IRS.

Sign into your online TurboTax account, then, go to Tax Home. You can check your e-file status here. Once that return is accepted, it's in the hands of the IRS and any further updates will come from their website. If it's been accepted, you can begin to track your refund at the IRS Where's My Refund? site.
