eFile 2024 Federal amendment 1040-X

Hi,

I have already eFiled my 2024 returns.

Now I need to file an amendment. I was able to use Desktop version to create the amendment from a copy of the original file. I was able to save or print, however, the Desktop version kept saying my eFile is complete and doesn't give me an option to eFile the amendment. How to trigger the eFile?

Since you are using TurboTax Desktop, simply go back to the File tab and switch from printing to e-file to electronically file your amended tax return for 2024. This link provides specific steps to switch from printing to e-file.
