EFILE NEVER WORKS

Please let me know HOW to use the efile on turbotax.  I have used turbotax for several years now.  Have tried everything and still unable to get my return accepted by the irs using the turbotax efile.  Why am I paying for turbotax for the convenience to efile when it never works and I have to go to the post office and pay more money to have my return sent certified with a return receipt?

Why is it rejecting?  The main reason is for the wrong 2019 AGI.

ENTER 0 FOR AGI. The IRS took a long time last year to process 2019 returns so the AGI didn't get entered in time.

When did you file 2019? If it was late in the year or you mailed it, try putting in 0 (zero) for the AGI. And see, https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/rejections/help/what-if-i-entered-the-correct-agi-and-i-m-still-getting-an-e-file-reject/00/27031

If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it.

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them.  You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places.  Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.

What is the rejection code and rejection message from the IRS?

If the IRS is rejecting the e-filed federal tax return for the 2019 AGI then enter a 0 (zero) for the 2019 AGI and e-file the 2020 tax return again.
