Millions have that message ...

Many refunds are taking longer during the pandemic.   https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

I understand that paper returns are delayed due to COVID work restrictions for the IRS. What I'm not understanding is the absence of statements from the IRS regarding any COVID-related or other atypical delays associated with electronically filed returns. To my knowledge there has been no statement regarding delay of e-filed returns, but to your point, it seems many e-filed refunds are in fact delayed. I would like to simply get a feel for how lengthy the delay might be, based on information from other people who e-filed their returns.

Update - Received tax refund on 7/15, so 14 weeks after e-file. In fairness, I received about 70 dollars more than I calculated on my return, so there was obviously some scrutiny, though I didn't get a letter or anything to let me know. The point? Don't give up. I guess there is still life in the swamp.
