Question

Error in my return; states I need a K-1; I no longer have that business in 2022?

TurboTax will not allow my return to file because it thinks I need a K-1 for 2022, I dissolved my LLC in 2021 and I should not need a K-1 in 2022.  How can TurboTax be fixed to eliminate needing the K-1 for 2022?

You can probably delete the errant K-1 form by following these steps:

 

  1. Click on Tax Tools in the left menu bar
  2. Click on Tools
  3. Look under Other Helpful Links and choose Delete a form

Find the K-1 form that does not belong and delete it!
