Question

ESL or extended sick leave, is in Box 14, when I enter that number it takes all of that out of my refund. I thought that money was just supposed to be taxed.

You will need to ask your employer what exactly that is referring to.

 

My guess is that it is indicating that part of the amount in box 1 Wages is this amount in Box 14, but that is only a guess.
