FASFA application / My 2016 taxes show my daughters SS number being off by one digit. I need to correct this some how because she needs to apply for FASFA this year.

First ... you cannot have efiled the return with an incorrect SS# so see if the current PDF has the correct number on it before you go thru the trouble of amending it ... https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1900748-how-do-i-get-a-copy-of-a-return-i-filed-in-turbotax-online

Go to this website to download the 2016 amend software - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/amend/ty16/

You will need to download the tax data file from the 2016 online account.
When you sign onto to your online account using the exact same user ID you used to create, complete and file the 2016 tax return you will land on the Welcome Home screen. Click on My TurboTax at the top left of the program screen. This will take you to the 2016 Timeline. Under the section Some things you can do: Click on Download .tax file

Or if you land on the Welcome Back screen click on the blue link Download your .tax file

Thank you both. Confusing I can get to the one I tried to file first which did have a typo of one digit last year. This return is on the home page. I then had to change it because of it being rejected. The one actually accepted was found on another PDF 2016 file within Turbo Tax, so I should be good to go for FASFA. I do recall the first one getting rejected then accepted after it stated the dependent SS # had already been used. I realized my error & corrected. Electronically resubmitted.
