Federal return filed on deceased

I filed a return on the 14th of January.  Filed the 1310 form also for deceased.  It was accepted on  the 15th and now it’s says it was transmitted in the 27th.  It also says the estimated refund date should be the 5th of February.  Refund was suppose to go into a joint checking account with deceased’s name.    Have yet to receive it.  Just seems odd that they changed the transmitted date to the 27th.  Is this normal?  Will they deposit into checking account or issue a paper check?

    The transmitted date is 1/27 because that's the day that the IRS began officially accepting returns, before that your's was on hold.   It is possible that the IRS may not direct deposit because of the Form 1310, if that is the case you will receive a paper check in the mail.
