Hi, I am a repeat customer when it comes to filing for my yearly taxes. I for some reason was alerted that I was supposed to mail my taxes in (when I usually do e-File) do to a document that I have entered in for COVID relief. I ended up applying for a $1,200 check when me and my family came down with covid to help make ends meet. this was a Government grant that they allowed people to apply for if there work was not paying for there leave of absence from COVID. I did the right thing and added it to my filing and pay my taxes on it. I mailed my refund paperwork certified with a tracking number and everything. Even that was a joke for the last known location was in Salt Lake City, UT. with no confirmed delivery was able to be provided. I spoke personally with someone at that last known location who confirmed that it most likely got delivered just not able to give me a for sure confirmation that it got delivered?? Its been over 6 weeks now and still to this day it does not show a pending status on my refund.... What the heck is going on? I need my money to pay for my wedding and this process is messing everything up.

It depends. You may need to wait a bit longer as the IRS has had to implement many changes in the last few weeks.  Trying using the following link to track your refund.

The online link is your best option to track your refund.  I have attached a link with more answers from the IRS as to why your refund may be taking longer to process.

I've been using the IRS.gov where's my refund and even signed into my account and nothing is coming up. Should I resend my document but mark it as duplicate and sign it so that way they don't think its fraud?

No, do not send in another copy.

If you do, this could result in additional delays in processing your returns or cause the IRS to flag your return as it will appear as if it has been filed twice.
