Can’t e file, due to line 7a states no income on my federal taxes?

You cannot efile a zero income return ... so what did you enter into the program ?

A federal tax return with no taxable income entered on the Form 1040 cannot be e-filed, only printed and mailed.

What income did you enter on the federal tax return?

If you entered Social Security benefits from a SSA-1099 and that is the only income entered, there is no need to file a tax return.
