Question

Filed 14th April, but trying to check on its status, note back, they weren't. Just resent both. What do I do now?

Do you owe or have a refund?
Just check your efile status here, <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/">https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/</a>

Or you can look it up inside the program.  Go up  to FILE - Electronic Filing - Check Electronic Filing Status.

When you efile you get back 2 emails.  The first email only confirms the transmission and the second email says if it was Accepted or Rejected.  Did you get either of those?  Check your spam or junk folder. The Reject email says why it was rejected.

You will get a email stating your returns were transmitted, then you will get an email letting you know if your returns were accepted or rejected.  If you are due a refund, there is no penalty for filing a late return.  If you owe taxes, then you will receive a bill for the penalty & interested owed.

If your returns get accepted & you have a refund, you can check the status of your Federal refund on the IRS website Where's My Refund

https://www.irs.gov/refunds

If you have a state refund, you can check your states website

How do I track my state refund?
