Filed 2021 using Mac download, now have to file amended return but when signing into turbotax.com and scrolling to tax returns and documents, no prior returns appear.

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

When the amended federal tax return becomes available you use the 2021 TurboTax desktop edition on your computer to amend the tax return.

An amended return, Form 1040-X, can only be printed and mailed to the IRS if the original tax return was not e-filed. The IRS will take up to 16 weeks or longer to process an amended tax return.

Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS.

The federal amended tax return, Form 1040-X, for tax year 2021 is estimated to be available in TurboTax on 03/17/2022
