Filed an amended 2020 tax return. How can I tell if it’s been electronically submitted and how do I track it?

If you e-filed the amended return then you would have needed to click on the large Orange button labeled "Transmit my returns now" in the File section of the program.

After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.

If you did not do this and it was not offered in the File section then the amended tax return would have to be printed and mailed.
