Question

Filed an amended return for 2022. IRS finalized it. Filed an extension for 2023. How do I proceed with the extended 2023 filing?

The amended return impacted the 2023 filing. Now the 2022 return is settled by IRS, I need to finalize the extension filing for 2023. Please help in how to proceed.

If you used the TurboTax Easy Extension to e-file the extension request then you have to sign onto the TurboTax online account with the same User ID that you used for e-filing the extension.

 

To start the 2023 return, click on Sign In on this TurboTax website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/file-your-own-taxes/
