Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.

Only the IRS can give you the status of the 2019 federal tax refund

Call the IRS: 1-800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday
When calling the IRS do NOT choose the first option re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
So after first choosing your language, then do NOT choose Option 1 (refund info). Choose option 2 for "personal income tax" instead.
Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
Then press 3 "for all other questions."
Then press 2 "for all other questions."
- When it asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, don't enter anything.
- After it asks twice, you will get another menu.

Press 2 for personal or individual tax questions.
Then press 4 for all other inquiries
It should then transfer you to an agent.
Or you can contact your local IRS office. See this IRS website for local IRS offices - http://www.irs.gov/uac/Contact-Your-Local-IRS-Office-1 or call 1-844-545-5640 to set up an appointment
Or you may want to contact a Taxpayer Advocate in your area. See this IRS website for Taxpayer Advocate in your area and a toll free number - http://www.irs.gov/Advocate/Local-Taxpayer-Advocate

Already have tried each suggested option you gave me. No one seems to have ANY  answers for this. Irs can't even get through on phones, turbo tax is completely useless- yes I get its in IRS hands after filling but when it looks like my refunds were not even filed on IRS site and Turbo tax somehow screwed up peoples 2nd stimulus checks because we filed through them- i finally decided to try once again for their "garunteed assistance" of a specialist they claim when you file. I had it set up to have my fee taken for filing out of both state and fed from fed refund to pay TT. Except it must have taken too long for fed refund and they just went ahead and debited full amount off my card in April and the assistance they promise for filing through them or trying to see if they can figure out what is going on, never was stated their "specialist" would instead tell me she had no idea what to do and wanted to know what I thought I should do. Great customer service I already paid for right?? Just disgusted this year with Turbo Tax and IRS. BTW Tax payer advocate services are closed in my state besides any area IRS office. So what am I to do as a tax payer who has been waiting for almost a year for my refund which because right now I'm going to school full time and also a single mom- that refund  I count on for over 1/3 of my annual income. (add on now the 2nd stimulus that is messed up by IRS AND Turbo Tax & can't get??)

@Banana1977 Since you requested to have the TurboTax account fees paid from the federal tax refund the refund was sent to Santa Barbara Tax Products Group.  There was an account that was created to receive your tax refund.  After paying the TurboTax fees the tax refund was sent to your bank as a direct deposit using the bank routing and account number you entered on your tax return.  SBTPG then closed their account.

This is where the trouble begins.  The IRS kept that SBTPG account as your direct deposit account.  Since it is a closed account the stimulus payments were rejected by SBTPG.  The IRS knew this from the first stimulus  fiasco and was supposed to use the direct deposit information the taxpayer entered on their tax return and Not the SBTPG account.  The IRS did not do that.

That leaves us with today and the second stimulus.

Go to this SBTPG website for current information concerning your stimulus payment - https://www.sbtpg.com/coronavirus-stimulus-payment-info/

You missed the part about they must have decided my fed refund was taking to long-- so instead they just debited full amount of my efile fees from my bank account DIRECTLY. They still wouldn't be able to take them from my refund because I have NOT RECEIVED my 2019 refund still. I could really care less about the stimulus check at this point. I received the 1st stimulus without any problems on April 15th 2020 with same bank account info TT took my fees to file out of. I see what you are saying to those who actually have received a 2019 refund and it screwed up their 2nd stimulus. It still makes no sense why  I don't have mine yet and more importantly my 2019 fed refund.
