Filing Form 8949

I just e-filed my federal taxes with TurboTax.  I will be paying taxes owed closer to the May 17 deadline.  As such, I printed out the voucher.  However, I notice that there was another form that printed that says I need to submit form 8949 "if I elect not to report my transactions electronically on form 8949".  When I look at the PDF of what was filed, it appears that Form 8949 was filed with all my other schedules and forms.  Is that not correct?  Why am I now being told I need to file that form by mail?

This is printed to alert you to the filing requirement if the entries were made in summary. For situations when all details are already included, there is no need to submit anything else.

Only submit portions that were entered in summary. If you need to submit something after all, start by using the "cover page" of Form 8453. Then, attach the Form 8949 equivalent details by providing the transactional details as you received them. Some will simply attach the applicable pages from their Form 1099-B statement. If there are thousands of transactions, for example, this would be useful.
