When the tax return was rejected, you were supposed to fix the issue that caused the rejection and e-file the tax return again.

See this TurboTax support FAQ for a rejected tax return - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/rejections/help/how-do-i-fix-a-rejected-return/01/26136

A tax return is only amended after the original tax return has been filed and accepted by the IRS.  If you did amend the tax return then you need to cancel the amended return.

To access your current year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2019 online tax return.

Click on Cancel Amend on the left side of the online program screen.

Then fix the tax return for the rejection and e-file the tax return.

You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large Orange button labeled "Transmit my returns now".

After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.
