Filing last return for my deceased mother, no probate, so I'm signing as personal representative. Can I use my own checking account for the direct deposit?

Mom's checking account was JTWROS, so it transferred at death to myself and my brother. We are getting ready to close it. Should I use her direct deposit info and keep the account open for the refund, or can I use my own separate account?

You could use your own technically, but electronic deposits are virtually always refused if the name on the check does not match the name on the account, so it would be wiser to leave the other open until you receive the deposit.
