why was my filing status changed after i filed from married filing jointly to single

    @KimH0517 TurboTax does not make any changes to your return, so we can't say for sure.  To correct your filing status, wait until the IRS either accepts or rejects your return. 

     

    If accepted, wait until you're issued a refund, or you've paid any taxes due.  Then you will need to amend your return to change your filing status.  Refer to the following TurboTax FAQ for instructions:  How do I amend my 2019 TurboTax Online return? - Community
