Has anyone had any luck efiling with the 8283 form? I have called Turbo Tax twice and they told me it would be available on 2/5/25, but I am still getting an error requiring me to file by mail. The forms availability list shows that the form is available for eFile. I am confused. Wondering if anyone else is having this problem.

Are you getting a e-file rejection message for donee acknowledgement,?

If your return is being rejected with a message saying "You have an entry on Form 8283, Donee Acknowledgement which required a donee's signature, electronic attachment is not supported," you will need to print out and mail your tax return. The taxing agency has implemented new standards for 2024 tax returns that essentially says if Form 8382 has a noncash donation where the donee is listed, then the form must be signed. Please follow the steps here to print and file your tax return.
