Has anyone had issues opening an amended tax return and get this message, "This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information."?

Using an MacBook Pro having download issues for prior taxes. Have you had the same issue and how was it resolved?

What tax year?    2016 and earlier are no longer supported and updates may not be available.
