No one would know that even if the stimulus funds were being sent.  The stimulus funds are expected to start being released in the next few weeks.

no - the checks won't begin to be sent until the week of April 24 and will be mailed in 'income order', meaning if you income is less than $10,000 they will mail the week of April 24, if your income is less than $20,000 those are expected to be sent the week of May 1, etc. 

 

the IRS is required to send you a letter within 15 days AFTER the check is mailed to confirm everything,
