Haven’t got a email on if my return was accepted I did not file 2018 and just found my w2 to file it what do I do I already submitted my return

First, check your e-file status to see if your 2019 return was accepted. Please see the link below for that information:

Once your tax return has been submitted, the most up to date information will come from the IRS.

It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to update. Until the IRS starts processing it on their own, you may not find record of it or the website may say that you have put in incorrect information when tracking your federal refund. As your return moves through the system, the status of it will be updated accordingly. Continue checking the Where’s My Federal Refund?  tool for updates. 

Now you need to file your 2018 return. You are not able to e-file prior year returns. You would need to print and mail your return to the IRS. Please see the following FAQ for instructions on how to file a prior year return.
