Question

Health Insurance Subsidy and amending

I submitted my return before receiving my 1095-A form for my Marketplace coverage with tax subsidy. A horrible mistake I have learned.

I thought I had to amend my return to include the 1095-A form so I did that and now have a 1040-EZ and 1040X completed.

When I send in my return via snail mail now (apparently I can't continue through TurboTax correct me if wrong) do I include my 1040-EZ, my 1040X or both? What else do I include in the way or forms and signing them?

I know I have to send a check or money order for the amount I owe back on my subsidy. Will the IRS take that money from me before paying me refund? I hope not. My refund is 5 times the size of what I owe back if that makes a difference. I use turbo tax every year for my federal and state return so please help a brother out.

The IRS is requesting Form 8962 for 2018
