Hello, I amended my 2019 & 2018 tax return and sent in the paperwork to IRS. Is there anything that I needed to do online that I may have missed. It has been 16 weeks

The "normal" time for the IRS to process an amended return is about four months.. but now it is taking a lot longer. The IRS is severely backlogged and is not able to process amended returns within the normal tmeframe. You may be waiting several months longer. Sorry. You can check it here:
