Question

Hello, I filed my 2022 federal tax return without including a transaction of stock shares, which should have resulted in filling out Form 8949. How do I amend my filing?

my stock share transaction was exempt from taxation as it was covered under 1202 small business stock testing guidance

If you had sold stock with a Section 1202 exclusion, you still have to report it.  For instructions on how to amend your 2022 tax return see the following TurboTax Help Article:
