Hello i made a mistake in my tax returns I forgot to include that my parents claimed me if I amend my return will IRS drop the charges from my parents ?

You will need to amend your return to indicate someone else is claiming you.

 

Your parents will need to file a paper return.  There is no way to get around the e-file system once you have already filed and claimed yourself.  Their return will not be accepted due to this fact.

Thank you and my parents file their tax returns online they actually went to a tax professional, even If they file online do they have to file on paper as a tax return or amended tax return ?
