Hello...I need to download 2019 tax returns but I don't see a documents tab

Apparently not everyone has a "Documents" selection in the left-side window...either that or you logged into the wrong Online account.

IF.....if you used the "Online " software last year, you must be sure you logged in to the exact same Online account you used to file it last year.....(If you used the CD/download version, the only copy is on your own computer, or your own file backups)

Thus, For Online users only:

Don't use any FAQ directions that tell you to click on "Documents" in the left-side of the screen.....DON'T click on Documents in the left screen

......there's one FAQ out there that can really be misleading for some TTX users, since many users have nothing at all in that section

For any prior years tax forms......( 2019 is now loaded into the prior years section )

 INSTEAD:.....right after you first log into your Online account, click on Tax Home

..............Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents 

.....................click on Show. 

.............................Click on the Year and then Click on Download/print return (PDF)
