I filed for my refund it has been processed but I got a letter like three days before it was to be direct deposited to my card that I need to verify my id. But before I could Co vid 19 started and everything shut down. I have my birth certificate social security card but no photo id. How do I or can I get a Hold of someone to help me. I'm in between jobs because of the virus and really need my refund . thank you

The IRS is planning to start issuing payments in the next few days.

The IRS will be opening a portal where you as a filer can update your banking information. It is scheduled to be opened mid-April. Check the link below for updates on this release. This would be the only way at this point to change your banking information.
