Question

Hey I filed my taxes and had provided a bank account for auto debit. I have forgotten which one that was. How do I find that out? Instead can I do a direct wire transfer?

    I would not recommend a wire transfer until you have all of the facts.

    • The transfer could cause a double payment.
    • Allow the IRS to completely process the return.
    • If they are unable to get it from an account you specified, they will notify you.
    • If necessary, make the payment then.
    • If you check the second page of your 1040 tax return it may give you an indication of the bank account that you used.
