Solved

Hi, I filed with a tax person last year, but would like to use Turbo Tax again for 2017 taxes. Is there a way I can upload my 2016 return and begin for 2017?

Not yet.  The 2017 software will not be released until late November/early December.

If our 2016 return was not completed with TurboTax, then no, you can not import it's data into TurboTax 2017. You'll have to enter it all manually. but then after that first year with TurboTax, you'll not have to re-enter the same data each year.

Turbo Tax cannot upload returns done on professional tax programs.

Will there be an option available to upload the info myself, or am I screwed for filing with  turbo tax for 2017?
